Summer Engagement Overview
We hope you and your family are well and enjoying summer break. Although it is fairly quiet here at The Lane, the business of preparing for the 2021-2022 school year is in high gear. We are working to finalize our staffing, transitioning our administrative team as we officially welcome Ms. Coleman, collaborating with our new PTA president and executive board, finalizing our school improvement plans, deep cleaning the building, and finalizing some new touches for 2021-2022.
Today we are excited to share our summer engagement plans with you all. Our goal is to stay connected with our students and families throughout summer by providing multiple and differentiated opportunities to engage with us. These opportunities are optional and simply a means to bring our school community together during the busy summer break. Please check out our MARK YOUR CALENDAR section below for the dates and times of our August back to school events which will provide our families with all the information, details, and logistics you need to begin another successful school year here at SJLES. As always, if Ms. Coleman (erin_coleman@hcpss.org) and/or I (dnotari@hcpss.org) can be of service to your family please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Have a great Independence Day Weekend, stay tuned, and hope to see you all soon!
Sincerely,
Dan Notari
SJLES Principal
