Girl Scouts Collecting Toiletry Donations for HoCo Families in Need
Jaguar 5th graders from Girl Scout Troop 1846 are teaming up with Mt. Hebron HS students to assemble care packages for local families. While the Mt. Hebron Food Drive focuses on providing fresh groceries, local Girl Scouts are collecting donations for personal care products to be distributed along with the food deliveries. Items being collected are: shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss.
The toiletry collection drive will run from October 24 – November 20, with the goal of assembling 50 care packages (one of each toiletry item).
Here’s how you can help:
-
Bring donations to the donation box by the SJLES front office
-
Bring donations to the SJLES Turkey Trot
-
Order from the Amazon wish list (https://amzn.to/3BTdTvr) for direct shipment to Troop 1846
Please make sure donated items are new, full size, and in original sealed packaging.
Thank you for supporting local families in need and for helping the Girl Scouts reach their goal!
