Melanie Krablin

Greetings St. John's Lane Community- I am deeply honored to assume the role of Principal at St. John’s Lane Elementary School, and I am eager to forge meaningful connections within our community. My journey in education began in Baltimore County in 2000, where I cultivated my passion for teaching. In 2007, I joined Howard County at Manor Woods Elementary, and my dedication to educational leadership flourished during my tenure as a Leadership intern at Veterans Elementary School. In 2014, I was appointed Assistant Principal at Atholton Elementary, a role that enriched my commitment to student success and community engagement. Continuing my career trajectory, I joined Bellows Spring Elementary in 2022, bringing with me a wealth of experience and a steadfast dedication to educational excellence. My academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University, a Master's in Special Education from Towson University, and certification in Leadership and Administration from McDaniel College. I take great pride in fostering strong relationships and meeting the diverse needs of our school community. As the new Principal, I am filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead. I am very excited to be the principal of this wonderful community!
