SJLES is looking for interested candidates to fill our Daily Building Sub position on Thursdays and Fridays for the 2024-25 school year. 

WHAT IS A DAILY BUILDING SUB?

The daily building substitute is a substitute teacher who reports to SJLES every Thursday and Friday and covers an unfilled substitute job.  If there are no unfilled substitute jobs on a day, then the daily building substitute can do other roles that support the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of the school community and gain classroom experience across all grade levels! Daily building subs can also pick up regular substitute jobs at SJLES or other HCPSS schools on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays. 

WHAT IS THE PAY RATE FOR A DAILY SUB?
The following long-term pay rates will be effective starting on the first day of the assignment:

Retired Sub Teacher $169.00
Degreed Sub Teacher $169.00
Non-degreed Sub Teacher $157.00 (must have at least 60 approved college credits)
