 5/21: Restaurant Day at Jersey Mike’s

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers to help make May Day such a success!  Thank you to everyone who donated a bake sale item, a table, a cooler or a canopy! Thank you to everyone who spent their valuable free time on late night zoom calls, making phone calls, organizing and planning. Thank you to everyone who helped the weeks and nights before and the day of to set up, run the show and clean up! And last but not least, thank you to all of the teachers, staff and administration for their continued support of the PTA and May Day.   

It was amazing to see all of our jaguars have so much fun, but it would not have been possible without so many amazing volunteers. THANK YOU! 

 

And another Thank you…

Last week the SJLES PTA Staff Appreciation Committee celebrated all of our amazing teachers and staff. On Monday, staff were treated to a sunshine filled lemonade and ice tea bar. Delicious assorted cupcakes were provided on Tuesday for all to enjoy. Wednesday included a catered lunch featuring salads, wraps, fruit, dessert, drinks and much more. On Thursday, Mike’s Gelato Truck visited campus to provide scoops of gelato for all. To wrap up the week, staff were gifted custom SJLES umbrellas. Shout out to all of our wonderful teachers and staff! Our community’s continued support of the SJLES PTA makes these types of events happen for our teachers and staff! 

 

TONIGHT @ 6:30:  In Person PTA Meeting

In order to vote on the next board, our next PTA meeting will be in-person in the media center on WEDNESDAY @ 6:30. Please come join us!  We are still looking for PTA Council of Howard County Representatives! These positions are critical for SJLES to stay up to speed on what is happening in the county.
