All absence notes should be sent directly to sjlesabsence@hcpss.org
Please include your
- Student First name AND Last Name
- Grade and homeroom Teacher
- Reason for absence (e.g., illness, bereavement, observance of a religious holiday, lack of transportation)
If a reason is not given, then the absence cannot be taken into consideration for excusing.
HCPSS students are allotted up to 3 local discretionary days per school year for travel, special events, or family trips. Submit the HCPSS Discretionary Absence Request Form to your school's principal or attendance secretary at least one week in advance of the absence.
