Complete Your Student’s Family FIle TODAY!
The 2022-2023 Family File is now available to parents. HCPSS requires that your Family File is completed BEFORE you can see your child’s teacher in Canvas during orientation week.
Only families who have completed the Family File will be able to see their student(s) home room teacher during orientation week.
Every year HCPSS parents must complete a Family File for each child. HCPSS utilizes Family File for parents/guardians to complete emergency information. Parents/guardians must verify and/or update information for each child, and can do so by logging in to HCPSS Connect PARENT ACCOUNT and selecting the MORE OPTIONS tab on the left and then clicking on Family File.
Once logged in, you will be asked to update or provide the following information:
Again, it is imperative that you complete the Family File in order to receive the name of your child's teacher for the upcoming school year.
Please Note: New HCPSS Families will receive login credentials within the first few weeks of August.

We Want Kindergarteners! Spread the word!
August has arrived and there is no better time to register our kindergarteners than right now! We want to ensure that all incoming kindergarten students are registered for the 2022-2023 school year as soon as possible. Please encourage any friends and neighbors you know who will have kindergarten students with us in 2022-2023 to begin the kindergarten registration process today. It is important to have all of our kindergarteners registered to ensure we have the appropriate number of teachers for our little Jaguars. Thanks for spreading the word to any neighbors and friends who may have not registered yet. Families looking for assistance can call 410-313-2813 or email dnotari@hcpss.org and robin_wolfrey@hcpss.org.
Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program
As HCPSS recently shared, the federal government has NOT extended waivers allowing free meals for all students. As a result, students whose families do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will be required to pay the daily meal price for the 2022-2023 school year. In addition, all qualifying families must apply for our FARM's program as soon as possible in order to receive free or reduced meals for the 22-23 school year.
Many HCPSS families are eligible to participate in the Free and Reduced Price Meals (FARMs) program, which provides children with a wide range of benefits including free or discounted college tuition, testing and application fees, academic and athletic program fees and many others in addition to free or discounted meals.
Families are urged to check their eligibility and complete a FARMs application as soon as possible. Families must submit a new application every school year.
Details on the Free and Reduced Meals program are available online. Use the link below to apply.
Participation in the Free and Reduced-Price Meal program qualifies students for the following opportunities:
