It's been an outstanding year at the SJLES library! Our students checked out nearly 25,000 books this year.  WOW! Here are some important dates to remember:

• Friday, May 24th- LAST DAY for students to check out books

• Friday, May 31st- All SJLES library books are due

• Tuesday, June 4th- Summer Reading Kick-off with Howard County Public Library

If your child has overdue books after the deadline, we will search all over the building for them. We also do a complete inventory of all 14,000 items in our library collection.  After that, if your child still has an overdue book, we will email you with lots of options for how to take care of it. We do not charge fines or require payment for lost books, but if you are able to replace missing books it is a great help. The cost of replacing these books is considerable. We would like to spend our library funds on new materials rather than to replace books that have not been returned. Thank you for your support!
