We are already planning for 2017-2018! As we begin taking steps toward next year’s homeroom instructional groupings, you are invited to share what you feel is significant about your child’s learning style and learning behaviors. Your response is optional.

Parents wishing to provide this valuable input should send a letter to Mrs. Sarro by May 5th. You are invited to share specific information about your child that you feel would be beneficial as our teachers and administrators meet to determine next year’s placement. Your input will be added to the information we already have, enabling us to make the best placement possible for each child. Please do not request a specific teacher for next year. In order for your input to be a part of the planning, your letter must be received by 3:30 pm, May 5 -FIRM. Letters received after this date will miss the planning process.

Your letter MUST include the following:
•    Your name and relationship to the child(ren)
•    FIRST and LAST NAME OF CHILD(REN)
•    CHILD’s GRADE IN Sept. 2017
•    If you are writing for more than one child, please write a separate letter for each child
•    Subject line for electronic letters is: “Consideration Letter for (child’s name)” and may be submitted to victoria_sarro@ hcpss.org
•    Subject line for hard copy letter envelope is “Consideration Letter for (child’s name)” and may be submitted to Mrs. Sarro via the SJLES front office.
