Special Education Temporary Employee Vacancy
We are in search of our next special education team member! SJLES has a vacancy for a Temporary Employee to work with teachers and paraeducators to support students with disabilities who require close adult supervision across the school day.
Temporary Employees ("TE") work with students who receive special education services at SJLES to implement specific components of the students' Individualized Education Plan under the direction of a Special Education Teacher and team. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to expand their expertise and grow professionally within the field of education!
TEs work the student school day. TEs do not work when students are not in school.
The current pay rate is $15 per hour. This is a non-benefit position.
Requirements include:
Some experience working with children or adults with disabilities.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Some college coursework is preferred.
Must pass State/Federal criminal background check and Maryland CPS background check.
