Smartwatch Reminders

At HCPSS elementary schools, students will keep personal technology devices such as cell phones, smartwatches, e-readers, etc, in backpacks during the school day, unless otherwise authorized by school administrators or instructional staff. We have seen a recent increase in students wearing smartwatches to school. Please note that smartwatches can be worn if they are being used simply as a watch during school and not to send or receive data via voice, video, or text.
